Hey, I’m Haylea, the designer behind Humid Studio.
Every day starts with coffee, a swim at the beach, and a good playlist. It’s simple, fuss-free, and intentional, the same way I approach design.
A few years ago, I was trapped in the 9–5 and had lost sight of my true passion: human connection and collaboration. Feeling burnt out, I quit the agency world in Brisbane, moved back home, and booked a one-way ticket to Chiang Mai, Thailand, hoping I’d uncover a grand life plan. I didn’t.
With just a suitcase and a renewed sense of gratitude, Thailand changed how I think about design. Leaving my job and possessions behind gave me the flexibility to adapt and grow. That shift transformed my perspective on branding too: build a brand with strong foundations, then give it the freedom to evolve and grow as you do. Why box yourself in with clutter and rigid guidelines?
With over eight years of experience across branding, photography, illustration, and creative strategy, I’ve worked with people in fashion, wellness, property, and lifestyle to create identities that are built to last; flexible, strategic, and ready to grow.
